Projects
Akka services are deployed to Projects within an organization.
Details
-
From a security standpoint, projects are isolated from other projects even in the same organization.
-
Users are given access to projects on a per-project basis.
-
One or more services can be deployed to a project.
-
A project is located in one or more regions.
-
The services in a project are each packaged as container images for deployment.
What a project holds
Start with Create a new project. The resources that the services in a project share are set up per project:
-
Container registries, where the images of your services are kept.
-
Secrets, which your services read at runtime.
-
A network policy, which controls the traffic between your services and anything outside the project.
-
A message broker, which your services use for eventing. The supported brokers are listed on Configure message brokers.
Access to a project is managed on Managing project users.
