trait ExecutionContext extends AnyRef

An ExecutionContext is essentially the same thing as a java.util.concurrent.Executor This interface/trait exists to decouple the concept of execution from Actors & MessageDispatchers It is also needed to provide a fallback implicit default instance (in the companion object).
